19th Century Sterling Silver Chinese Miniature Tea Caddy Box
A late 19th or early 20th century miniature Chinese tea caddy or box. Of rectangular form with chased rabbit or hare decoration to lid, with hand engraved floral and foliate design to lid panels. Pull off top reveals the base with a small well in the top to hold a small amount of tea. Unmarked but tests as 900 silver or higher. In very good overall condition with tight fitting lid, no splits or major damage, some light edge knocks and dings. 4.4cm high x 4.0cm x 2.9cm. 59g.
