Antique 19th Century Hunting Leather Bag with Hunting Relief Scenes
A mid 19th century leather hunting bag, with high relief copper panels to the front showing hunting scenes. The panels depict various hunting and rural scenes of Men on horseback and hunting dogs. Probably French circa 1840. Wear to the copper panels and damage and wear to the leather strapsbut still inatct, no apparent splits to the bag but there is signs of wear, silk lining torn inside the cover. 30cm long, bag 13.2cm wide
